I wrote poetry using song titles from my spotify playlist

*Different Post*

I was thinking about writing a narrative, but I’m just not feeling any type of writing today, so you get this instead.

I basically just wrote two different poems inspired by song titles. I don’t know if I liked doing it that much, I feel like it took me a while for not that great of a result. But whatever, at least I got it done. Enjoy.

.

You Say I Don’t Like You

And you’re right, I Hate Everything About You

You like to Play With Fire, Even If it Hurts

Strike a Match to watch everything go Up in Flames.

Make Me Believe I have to Walk Through the Fire too.

Little Do You Know you Hold Me Down.

Bring me closer to The Dark,

Forgetting I’m already Used to the Darkness.

But In the End, My Love Will Never Die.

And still, I believe I Don’t Deserve You.

.

What I’ve Done Hurts Like Hell,

The Hate Inside forming a Silent Scream,

Part of Me too Twisted to Control.

The Sound of Silence buried Six Feet Under my depression.

The Secrets and Lies too Heavy on my shoulders.

Whatever it Takes I want to Let it Go,

Want to say I Found myself Trapped in the Thought of Free.

But I Feel Like I’m Drowning, and wondering everyday

When Will I Fall so far, there’s No Time to Die?
